Re: High Voltage measures Vb,V1 & V2 dedicated ISO codes and new fine locations

Dear colleagues, there is no question, this issue is worthy to find defined codes. In practice, there often is only a possibility to measure the three high voltages in the power cable, not directly in the battery, so the Volkswagen group is using POCA (power cable) for the main location. Regarding t...

Re: New main location CTUN (control unit)

Dear Dirk, I guess the position of the control unit is more obviously than a name coded in the main location. ( I fear a rising number of main locations). During analysis often it is more important to know the location of the sensor than the electronical function, when we are talking about accelerat...

Re: Main Location ECSE (Early Crash Sensor)

Dear Dirk,

the new main location ECSE is intended to be used for frontal impact only (like Up-front sensors). For our purposes accelerations (AC, VO also thinkable).

New main location CTUN (control unit)

Dear colleagues,
for rising number of control units in the vehicle I suggest to have a new main location for control unit(s) COUN.

Main Location ECSE (Early Crash Sensor)

Dear colleagues, the "Sensorik" team want to have a general main location for the position of Early Crash Sensors. They suggest ECSE. In practice it's often difficult to determine the right main location and position, where the sensors are placed in the tests. I know, we would "leave&...

New physical dimension for calculated angle

Dear colleagues, when discussing the physical dimensions VA (velocity calculated of acceleration) and DV (displacement calculated of velocity) I missed a dimension for the angle (AN) when it's calculated of angular velocity. I would like to discuss (again) if there will be a need for new dimensions ...

Re: New Code for Reference Pulse

Dear colleagues, in the meeting of today, we discussed two options for a new main location: for an easy reading PULS as a main location and RQ for "required" pulse = S0PULSRQ????AC?? or only the main location PREQ Pulse requirement with then more free fine locations = S0PREQ??????AC?? For ...

New main location "flying floor"

Dear colleagues, we would like to introduce a new main location for the flying floor (side Impact pole). Euro NCAP is calling it "carrier". Here are the results and suggestions of the first discussions: CARR (carrier) PLAF (platform) FLFL (flying floor) For the first character (test object...

Re: Dummy Channel Coding

Dear collegues,

the People of Porsche also prefer a unique coding of the dummy (one FL3)
If the "mixed" dummy will be part of a new procedure our solution should be a new FL3 which describes this combination of dummy parts.

Kind regards

new main locations needed

dear colleagues, in FMVSS 208 there is a need for an acceleration transducer at the brake calip(p)er (in german Bremssattel). Could we introduce a new main Location WHBC (wheel brake caliper) or has somebody a better idea? We also would like to have a new main location for vehicle can-bus or Flex ra...

New PD for raw data InDummy-systems

When using IrTraccs with InDummy systems, the output (raw data) of the Indummy has the physical dimesion LSB (least significant bit).
Should we introduce a new coding for example RW (raw data) or something like BI (bit)??
In which manner you are handling these sytems?

Re: Channelcodes for Static test

hello Uwe, i looked to your document and have some statements: in the document iso_seat_2_16 there is a picture for the pulltest ISOFIX ECE R14 we should take for the main location SFAD. for the head restraint ECE-R 17 I named the channels HEAD and BACK for the mainlocations, that will differ to the...

Re: WorldSID (WS) - 20130301 revision

why do we call at S2 ??SHRI00LES2ACX? and we call it different at WS like ??SHRILE00WSACX?
Is there a good reason to call same things in a different way?

Gerd
