Proposal for Human Model

Post by Peter Mueller »

Dear colleagues,

for the simulation of Human Model we need new MainLocations and Finelocations.
For details see the figures in the attached file.
I need your reassurance at the MME-TaskForce Meeting 201404202 for using these suggestions so we can start immediately.

My colleagues will present these suggestions in other committees too.

@ Peter Derpmann-Hagenstroem: Please add this to the meeting's agenda.

Best regards

Peter-Paul Müller

The result of the TaskForce discussion leads to a new naming solution.
The advantages and disadvantages are listed in the attached document.

The best solution needs two new FineLocation1:
  • RM right middle
  • LM left middle
Best regards

Peter

agreed with THUMS specialists the proposal 3 of the attached document
seems to be the best solution to start with this new dummy type.

Dea colleagues,

we have currently added the requested "Fine Location 3" codes for Human Models.

Please handle these codes as preliminary as the involved experts are discussing other solutions at the moment.

FL3 Codes for Human Models (snapshot 2017-10-06):

Code: Select all

FINE_LOC_3 TEXT_L1 TEXT_L2
OF 5th Percentile Human Female 5-Perzentil Mensch weiblich/Frau
OH 50th Percentile Human Male 50-Perzentil Mensch männlich/Mann
OM 95th Percentile Human Male 95-Perzentil Mensch männlich/Mann

Dear colleagues,

we (Audi) discussed with VW, Porsche AG and ASTech a new proposal ragarding the fine location 3 codes for virtual human models. We agreed the following codes:

VH : 50th Percentile Virtual Human Model
VM : 95th Percentile Virtual Male
VF : 5th Percentile Virtual Female
V6 : 6 y.o. Virtual Child
VA : 10 y.o. Virtual Child

Can you please discuss this proposal in the next ISO Meeting. This proposal should replace the previous request (Fri Oct 06, 2017 9:41 am, FL3 Codes for Human Models)

Dear colleagues,

the new coding is now included in the 1.6.2 proposal 2:

Please respond on the naming. Actually I am not satisfied to have:
Virtual <-> Human (or in German: Virtuell <-> Mensch) mixed.

It is "only" the longname, but I would like to have a general accepted
wording in the database.

In the figures there will be the one general figure to describe the
special main location codes of Human Models.

Bye,
