proposed codes for LX and FLX dummies

Post by Paul Wellicome »

Here is the current status to the coding for "Advanced Lower Leg" for 50th (LX) and 5th (FLX) Hybrid 3 dummies. As suggested at the meeting, Mr Vetter has used X3 and XF in FL3 to designate these dummies.

He merely includes the codes for the lower legs, as all other coding for H3 and HF must be simply copied over with the replacement in FL3. Thus, these are not part of the discussion

You will see some question marks because, from the documentation available to Mr Vetter, there are just 4 or 5 channel load cells installed. But, he suggests that maybe there will be 6-channel load-cells available in the future and we should have codes reserved for them.

No new FL3 codes for the combination!

See chapter A.2.12 Combination of dummy parts in RED A of MME 1.6:

When combining parts of different dummy types a unique FineLocation3 has to be used.
Esp. when using THOR legs together with the 50th percentile male Hybrid III
the FineLocation3 should be H3 for all dummy channels.
