Codes for NIJ Parts

Post by DiVe » Thu Jun 07, 2018 11:54 am

Dear colleagues,

in the database there are codes available for the Nij parts of the signal.
These Codes are available since version 1 (14.10.1999) for the dummy types:
H3,HF,HM,Y2,Y6,Y7 and now also for YW (Version 46).

The codes are:
Nij_Part_Codes.png
Nij_Part_Codes.png (77.32 KiB) Viewed 829 times
In principlal the calculated signals/channels represents the:

Code: Select all

??NECKUPCEH3000? -> NCE (Compression, Extension)
??NECKUPCFH3000? -> NCF (Tension, Flexion)
??NECKUPTEH3000? -> NTE (Tension, Extension)
??NECKUPTFH3000? -> NTF (Tension, Flexion)
parts of the Nij.

As the code is fully used it did not allow to store information on OoP or IP (In-Position) in the code.
In the coding there is also the Main Location "NIJC" Nij Criterion available.
With this coding part (Main Location) a more intuitive naming will be enabled, that also allows to store information
on the kind of calculation:

Code: Select all

IP
??NIJCIPCEHF000? -> NCE (Compression, Extension) In-Position
??NIJCIPCFHF000? -> NCF (Tension, Flexion) In-Position
??NIJCIPTEHF000? -> NTE (Compression, Extension) In-Position
??NIJCIPTFHF000? -> NTF (Tension, Flexion) In-Position
OoP
??NIJCOPCEHF000? -> NCE (Compression, Extension) OoP
??NIJCOPCFHF000? -> NCF (Tension, Flexion) OoP
??NIJCOPTEHF000? -> NTE (Compression, Extension) OoP
??NIJCOPTFHF000? -> NTF (Tension, Flexion) OoP
So my proposal is to expire the old codes and introduce the new codes.
The coding will then also match the existing CVC codes.

Kind regards,
Dirk

Dear colleagues,

as discussed yesterday on the task force meeting, I i will introduce the new coding for the NIJ criterion
and the Nij component time histories in the database.
Also I will expire the old codes.

For my proposal I realized a typing error.
I mixed up FL1 and FL2 in the first proposal (now edited/corrected in the post).

The correct and complete coding approach will be:

Code: Select all

IP
??NIJCIP00HF000B -> Nij In-Position
??NIJCIPCEHF000B -> NCE (Compression, Extension) In-Position
??NIJCIPCFHF000B -> NCF (Tension, Flexion) In-Position
??NIJCIPTEHF000B -> NTE (Compression, Extension) In-Position
??NIJCIPTEHF000B -> NTF (Tension, Flexion) In-Position
OoP
??NIJCOP00HF000B -> Nij OoP
??NIJCOPCEHF000B -> NCE (Compression, Extension) OoP
??NIJCOPCFHF000B -> NCF (Tension, Flexion) OoP
??NIJCOPTEHF000B -> NTE (Compression, Extension) OoP
??NIJCOPTFHF000B -> NTF (Tension, Flexion) OoP
I set the filtering to CFC600 = B in the codes as, this is the correct filtering for Nij.

Kind regards,
Dirk

Dear colleagues,

I have implemented the new codes for NIJ signals in the DB: 1.6.2 proposal 3

The following codes have been added:
New NIJ-Codes in [MME_POSSIBLE_CHANNELS].png
New NIJ-Codes in [MME_POSSIBLE_CHANNELS].png (89.29 KiB) Viewed 661 times
All older Codes based on NECKUP have been expired in the DB.
I have not added the new codes for the 6-Year weigthed dummy (YW), as
I expected that his dummy in is not used in OoP testing.

Bye,
Dirk

Dear colleagues,

I verified the new coding for the Nij and finally the codes I supplied now
in the database are already conforming to the coding approach for CVC's in RED E.
So only my first proposal (green text) has been mixed the FineLocation1 and FineLoaction2 coding (now edited/corrected in the post).

So the coding style will be like:
11NIJCIPCEH3000B

Kind regards,
Dirk
