New main location CTUN (control unit)

Dear colleagues,
for rising number of control units in the vehicle I suggest to have a new main location for control unit(s) COUN.

Dear Gerd,

I verified that the only Main Location currently available in the database, that might be similar is CEUN (Central Unit).
So COUN could be used to code additional controls systems.

Did you expect that it will be sufficient to code the location based on the Vehicle Zone (ISO[2]) and
the Fine Locations (ISO[7-8],ISO[9-10],ISO[11-12]) rather than the function of the control system parts?

Could you specify typical signals (physical dimenions) to be recorded on the Control Units?
I guess AC and may VO, CU,EV?

Dear Dirk,

I guess the position of the control unit is more obviously than a name coded in the main location. ( I fear a rising number of main locations). During analysis often it is more important to know the location of the sensor than the electronical function, when we are talking about accelerations. For us in a first step that will be sufficient. The dimensions could further be VO, CU or EV.
