EuroNCAP - Data acquisition and Injury Calculation

Post by derpmann »

Dear colleagues,
EuroNCAP has published a draft version of a new technical bulletin for
Data format and Injury Calculation

This document starts with:
All test data needs to be provided in ISO-MME 1.6 or ISO-MME 2.0 format and needs to be fully compliant with the ISO/TS 13499 standard.
In chapter 1.2 channel names and filters are listed.
A colleague from AUDI found a specification for pedestrian head channels differing from the MME-Database for 1.6Rev1.

We should discuss this and possibly other differences as soon as possible to avoid differing requirements.

Best regards

Peter Derpmann-Hagenstroem

Dear colleagues,
as we already started the discussion on the coding issues in the TB021, I have attached my reviewed version with several
questions regrading the coding and some other issues for the processing.
I have also send this document to the responsible person at EuroNCAP and hope we will get some response soon.

Kind regards,
Dirk

Dear colleagues,
in the meantime the first official version of the TB021 is published.
Some of Dirks comments are integrated but some other topics have to be discussed.
Attached you will find the Version 1.0 document from October 2014 and a document with my comments.
They should be the base for the tomorrow's discussion.

Dear colleagues,

please find here the latest version V2.1 for TB021 from November 2017 with an application date of 2018.
There are no major changes to the 2.0. I found that in the annex
the "IR-TRACC" references was replaced by a more general "sensor" wording:
