Measure external displacements of Dummies

Here come a coding request from people measuring external displacements on the dummies:
Typically for the TNO 10 (FL3=T1) there were external string pots used to measure the extend of (forward) movement of the pelvis and also on the chest. This measurement equipment is also used on other dummies.

As the string pot is not mounted within the dummy the question is how to code it.

Here is my proposal:

- Measurement is not in the dummy but related to the dummy. So the FL3 code of the dummy should be used.
- Measurement is made outside of the dummy. For Fine Location 1 and 2 there is "OU" = outer available and should be used.
This will help to distinguish especially between the Chest Deflection measurement and the outer chest motion.

So the coding could be for the chest movement:
**CHSTOU****DS**
and for the Pelvis
**PELVOU****DS**

We can add this coding to the possible channels in the database without direction and dummy type specification (FL3) or just for the typical dummies that are used with this string pot equipment.

I just realized that there are no possible channels available for the TNO 10 dummy type in the database.

Can anyone who uses this type of dummy supply a list of the typical measurements?

It depends on the application if "0" or X,Y,Z could be used for the direction.
