Channelcode for NKM?

Post by ucarstensen »

Hello,

I'm looking for channelcodes for NKM criterion.

The proposal of our anlalyse software is :

S1NKMCIPEPBR00YB / Nkm criterion extension posterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIPEABR00YB / Nkm criterion extension anterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIPFPBR00YB / Nkm criterion flexion posterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIPFABR00YB / Nkm criterion flexion anterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIP00BR00YB / Nkm criterion (In Position )
S1NKMCIPEPBR00YA / Nkm criterion extension posterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIPEABR00YA / Nkm criterion extension anterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIPFPBR00YA / Nkm criterion flexion posterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIPFABR00YA / Nkm criterion flexion anterior (In Position )
S1NKMCIP00BR00YA / Nkm criterion (In Position )
S1NICR00SIBR00XD / NIC

I would like to define the codes due to the TS 13499 but I can't find any proposal.
Is NKMC the correct code for the main location?

Best regards

Dear Uwe,

actually you are right and the NKM result channel codes are not included in the database. Nevertheless they are already covered by the RED E:
??NKMCFA00??00YX
??NKMCFP00??00YX
??NKMCEA00??00YX
??NKMCEP00??00YX
??NKMC0000??00YX

So I would expect that the channels of the corresponding NKM parts would follow this codings:
??NKMCFA00??00YB
??NKMCFP00??00YB
??NKMCEA00??00YB
??NKMCEP00??00YB
??NKMC0000??00YB

I am not sure why their is a IP in your codings. For Nij their are for some dummies different critical intercept values given for In Position and Out-of-Position testing. Therefore we included this in the coding. For the NKM I just know about one set of reference values to be used with the BIORID:

extension -> 47.5 Nm
flexion -> 88.1 Nm
negative and positive shear -> 845 N

So their is no need for the IP in the code. Also I am not sure about the variant with CFC1000 -> ....A. As far as I know the NKM will be prepared with CFC600 -> ...B

Kind regards,
Dirk

... I would propose to move this topic somewhere to the "Additional Codes" board, as this is not explicitly a V 2.0 issue...

Implemented in db 1.6 p5:

??NKMCFA00??00YX / NKM, Flexion Anterior Shear / NKM, Flexion Scherung nach vorn
??NKMCFP00??00YX / NKM, Flexion Posterior Shear / NKM, Flexion Scherung nach hinten
??NKMCEA00??00YX / NKM, Extension Anterior Shear / NKM, Extension Scherung nach vorn
??NKMCEP00??00YX /NKM, Extension Posterior Shear / NKM, Extension Scherung nach hinten
??NKMC0000??00YX / NKM Criterion / NKM-Kriterium

Actually I did not add the codes for any true calculated "channels" (also not available for NIJ,...).
If their is a need I will add them later.
