Dear Colleges,
I have a question about the channel codes for Free Motion Headform Impactor.
We use: I?HEAD????FHACX?
"I" for the test objekt FMH-Impactor.
At fine location 3 we have "FH" for the Free Motion Headform.
What about the other forms:
Knee hemisphere (4 kg)
Head hemisphere (4.8kg)
Head hemisphere (6.8kg)
Regards

Re: free motion headform impactor
Dear Uwe,
the Test Object code "I" is officially set to expired in the database since Version 1.4 (2005). There is a comment to use "FH" in Fine Location 3 instead. For all dummy parts or dummy like impactors (simulating a part of the body) we suggest to use the Test Object code "D" instead. We use these codes for examples for the Pedestrian Dummy Impactors.
I expect that the impactors you mentioned are something different. So we might need to define different FL3 codes for them. Could you provide some reference for the regulation the impactors come from?
Bye
Dirk

Re: free motion headform impactor
Mr Carstensen provided some additional input for the regulation related to the impactors he would like to code.
I started to think about the coding and which impactors might already been coded.
We may can discuss on the 15th December meeting?
Bye,
Dirk
