T-zero frame

Post by Paul Wellicome »

In the MII file, we have a TZero frame number for each video.

What the ISO document and RED-A do not state is whether this is zero- or one-based ie is the first frame to be numbered 1 or 0?

Image numbering

Post by derpmann »

Unfortunately this is not fixed in the documents.
Most software tools are written in C or C++.
For this reason most of the tools start with image number 0 for the first image.

In MME version 2.0 I propose a new descriptor "Time of the first image" in the MII file to avoid the problem.
