Coding for upcoming MIL SID Dummy (EM?)
Posted: Tue Mar 16, 2010 2:26 pm
Dear colleagues,
Denton is delivering a special dummy for military blast test.
This dummy is a composition of a SID H3 head and neck, a ES-2re torso with the typical H2 upper legs.
Below the knees the special military legs (MIl Legs) are used. These legs are a simplified variant of the Thor legs.
Denton proposed to have a special FL3 coding for this dummy. Actually this dummy is a candidate for a standardized dummy type for this type of testing.
The proposal for the FL3 coding is:
EM = ES-2re Military
I will add some more reference information on measurement locations soon.
If you have any comment or see problems with this coding please respond here.
Bye,
Dirk
p.s. To Paul: Can we move this topic to a separate session as for the THOR or WorldSID coding?
