Hello Members,
ISO TS 13499 is a data exchange format.
Therefore it seems advisable that everybody undertands it right and it will be used in the same manner.
The hint for the additional info of the test objects can lead to some misunderstandings, as we see it from our customer response. This is not a benefit for the acceptance for the format.
Sample form: "ISO_TS13499_RED_A_V14_Paris_Hints.pdf"
Class of test object 1 :A0
Code of test object 1 :LittleCar
Ref. number of test object 1 :007-008
We (IAT) would propose to clarify this by giving a suggestion in the following manner:
Class of test object 1 :Vehicle class referring to Euro NCAP or plattform type
Code of test object 1 :Code of model type or stage of development
Ref. number of test object: Unique identification number (e.g. vehicle identification number)
Maybe for the version 2.0 it could be added something to the remark?
Additional info of the test objects
