H3 and HF Rib Force/Moment Measurement
Posted: Mon Mar 05, 2012 1:42 pm
Dear colleagues,
I verified the options for Rib Force/Moment at the H3, HF and HM dummies.
a) The HM dummy actually has no rib force/moment measurement.
b) There exists a 2 axis design that provides FX on LE and RI of each rib.
- The sum of these both measurements gives the total FX force for a rib.
- Also there is a lever arm available that allows to calculate a MZ moment.
c) There is a 4 axis design for FX, FY, FZ and MY
I reported this already to Paul. What I have overseen here is that the
measurement is no longer using a side (LE/RI).
So the coding must be changed to something like:
??RIBS0100H3FOX?, ??RIBS0100H3FOY?, ??RIBS0100H3FOZ?, ??RIBS0100H3MOY?, ...
I will add the new codes for HF and H3 to the database 1.6.
Bye,
Dirk
