Hello ,

we try to integrate static test (ECE R 17 / ECE R 14 / FMVSS210 / ADR34) into ISOmme.
Please see the attachment for suggestions for channel codes.
Main Problems:
Test object
Position 2. and 3. row
main location

@ Peter: I know you are working at the same topic. I think you define allready everything :D, or?

Regards Uwe

hello Uwe,
i looked to your document and have some statements:
in the document iso_seat_2_16 there is a picture for the pulltest ISOFIX ECE R14 we should take for the main location SFAD.
for the head restraint ECE-R 17 I named the channels HEAD and BACK for the mainlocations, that will differ to the ?D (pressing, compressing device ??), perhaps somebody has a better idea. In the data base we find HEFO for headform, so we also could implement BAFO for backform.

yours
Gerd

Hello Gerd,

- head restraint ECE-R 17: if we use instead of HEAD HEFO then we should use for the Back pan BAFO.

We should discuss this topic at the next net meeting.

Hello,
I checked the proposed codes with our test engineers
and added some comments to your document.
We should discuss:
  • the test object
  • should we distinguish between traction device seat center of gravity and traction device seat back center of gravity ?
  • the direction of ISOFIX ECE-R14: Y or X
  • should we use HEAD and BAPN or HERE and SEBA ?
Best regards
Peter

Dear Colleagues,
Uwe started the discussion for the coding of the test setup on the last page of the document. Initially the intention was to use HEFO Main Location and add a BAFO Main Location for the coding of the back pan measurement. Actually we reviewed in the Database that HEFO has been expired since verison 1.4. At this point in time we also expired several other Main Location codes (HEAT, HECH) that have been defined before, but tries to reflect the dummy or impactor type in the Main Location. Those codes have been changed to the typically style of dummy codes:
1. The Dummy or Impactor Type is coded by an appropriate code in Fine Location 3 (like: FH, PA, PB, HH,...)
2. The Main Location is used with a common and existing code (as far as possible)

So examples for the this type of coding are ??HEAD0000PAACX? or ??HEAD0000FHACX?

To follow this coding approach we need to define the codes needed for the test procedure on the last page like:
T?HEAD0000HHFOX?
T?HEAD0000HHDSX?

For the Back Pan (official name used in SAE documents) we could use a combination of the existing Main Location BAPL (Back Plate ) that has been introduced for the ES-2 dummy or similar designs.
What is missing for a coding of the measurements would be a Fine Location 3 code for the Back Pan.
Our proposal is BP = Back Pan = Rückenwanne.
So the coding could be:
T?BAPL0000BPFOX?
T?BAPL0000BPMOY?
T?BAPL0000BPANY?
(respect that we changes MOX -> MOY and ANX -> ANY also)
Uwe will update the last page of the document the next days. So we may have a final decision at the next Web Meeting?

Have a nice weekend,
Dirk
