Dear Colleagues,
there has been feedback from Humanetics on the current Q10 coding and the available/upcomming measurements for this dummy:
· T1 left and right are missing
· T12 Z accel is not a standard location
· Sacro iliac loadcell left and right are missing, note: the loadcell is not available from Humanetics yet, it still needs to be designed and build but
the location is available.
· The femur loadcells are foreseen and are in the ISO list. The design is ready, but has not been built yet.
· The rib accels can be mounted on 6 position
o front upper and lower accel upp AX Low Ax
o Left upper and lower accel, upp Ay and low Ay
o Right upper and lower accel, upp Ay and low Ay
· The abdomen pressure sensor is not yet delivered by Humanetics, this is a research tool supplied by IFSTTAR
· a Location for the lower lumbar spine accels are is not foreseen
· a Location for the lower lumbar spine angular rate sensors is not foreseen
Images supplied by Humanetics for the requested changes:
I already have inquired the usage of one or two T1 AC measurements as I have seen this just for dummy certification and the feedback has been:
"T1 - Just one is standard, as yet the side which is THE standard has not been specified.
Axis is the Y axis."
Usage in: "Certification and also used together with the side impact kit."
We will review this on the next web meeting (2014-09-23) and update the figures and the database accordingly.
Dirk
