Arbitrary Direction Code

Hello group,
I am looking for a Code Position 15 for a sensor that is measuring at an arbitrary angle. For example, if a vehicle sensor is measuring at 45 degrees, or 60 degrees from the longitudinal. Currently there is code for this. Code 0 is "Without", which doesn't really apply here and Code R is for "Resultant" which is for calculated channels? One suggestion could be "V" for any arbitrary vector angle? I am open for suggestions.
Thank you.

Hello,
in my opinion the "0" code might apply here still. Even if the wording "Without" is not the best naming for it, the "0" code is used if no specific direction is addressed.
A better longname for “0” might be: "no specific direction".
For example a belt force will be coded with "0" direction or often the voltage and event channels.
My you can describe your application that has a need for this coding?
So we can think about it or provide information which codes are used by other labs.
Kind regards,
Dirk

Thanks Dirk,
This application would be for a sensor that is measuring in a specific angle relative to a longitudinal/lateral. For example, if an accelerometer is measuring 45 degrees off-axis of the longitudinal direction. In my opinion, it does have a specific direction, its just not in the directions of the options allowed.
Thanks again,
Sean
