Naming of "IR-TRACC" channels in DB

Dear colleagues,
I would like to have a discussion/decision for the future naming of "IR-TRACC" channels in the database.
Many longnames in the Possible Channel Table (and in the RED B document) do include the text "IR-TRACC".
This has been introduced to mark the channels of this specific sensors in the past.
Nowadays we have different alternative measurement devices available with other technology/naming.
To keep the database free of "advertisements" I would like to change the namings.
The easiest approach will be to remove the text from the naming.
Alternative proposals are welcome.

Kind regards,
Dirk

Dear colleagues,
as dicussed on the meeting today:
- The term "IR-TRACC" should be replaced by a general term for this kind of measurement device (Multidimensional Deflection Measurement).
- The term must also been exchanged in the Chest Deflection figures.
Proposals for the general naming term are welcome.
Like:
MD-Sensor
MD-Device
...
Kind Regards,
Dirk

Dear Colleagues,
to have more ideas for finding an abbreviation to use as a "neutral" replacement term, I gatherer some ideas.
The starting point was the current abbreviation:
IR-TRACC InfraRed Telescoping Rod for the Assessment of Chest Compression
So here are some alternative not related to a specific product:
- TRAD: Telescoping Rod for the Assessment of Deflection
- TRAC: Telescoping Rod for the Assessment of Compression
- DAD: Deflection Assessment Device
- ADC: Assessment Device for Compression
- ADD: Assessment Device for Deflection
- ADCM: Assessment Device for Compression Measurement
- DCA: Device for Compression Assessment
- DMCA: Device for Multidimensional Compression Assessment
- DMDA: Device for Multidimensional Deflection Assessment
- MDCA: Multidimensional Device for Compression Assessment
- DMCA: Device for Multidimensional Compression Assessment
- MDMD: Multidimensional Deflection Measurement Device
- MDM: Multidimensional Deflection Measurement
- MCM: Multidimensional Compression Measurement
- MCMD: Multidimensional Compression Measurement Device
- MMD: Multidimensional Measurement Device
Additional alternatives or recommendations are welcome.
Kind regards,
Dirk

Dear Dirk,
from your proposals I prefer the part telescoping rod.
Multidimensional is only valid for 2D- und 3D-variants.
Best regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
meanwhile I am not sure if the "telescoping" part will match to all designs (Maria,...).
In the ISO/PDTR21002 the term "Multi-dimensional measurement system" is used.
This will give another option: MMS (or MDMS)
But still, then there is at least a 2D system addressed.
Kind regards,
Dirk

Dear colleagues,
as discussed on the web-meeting, here are the proposals:
Base idea: Use something, that sounds similar:
TRAC - Telescoping Rod for the Assessment of Compression
TROD - Telescoping Rod
and for the channels of multidimensional devices:
MTRAC - Multidimensional Telescoping Rod for the Assessment of Compression
MTROD - Multidimensional Telescoping Rod
Discussion still open.
Kind regards,
Dirk

Decision of the TaskForce:
MTRAC - Multidimensional Telescoping Rod for the Assessment of Compression
should be used instead of IR-TRACC in the longtext fields of the DataBase and in the figure CHST.
