In order to measure the capacity / remaining capacity I would like to add explicitly the unit
Farad / electrical capacity
to the database.

Regards

Thomas

Dear Thomas,

from the viewpoint of the existing codes, we could use:

A) "EC": as you named the dimension "Electrical Capacity"

b) "CA" for CApacity

for this physical dimension.

The SI unit will than be: F = Farad = Coulomb/Volt = A * s / V

Any other (better) ideas?

Kind regards,
Dirk

Hello Dirk,

thanks for your quick reply and your suggestions.

I prefer

A) "EC": "Electrical Capacity"

as I believe this to be more defined compared to "CA"; nevertheless I'm open for other ideas / suggestions as long as we agree on something.

Regards

Thomas

I have prepared the entry until the final discussion on the next tast force meeting.
Please find a snapshot with the corresponding exponents attached.

Kind regards,

Dear Thomas,

I need to correct the exponents in the database.
Here is some reference for the unit Farad:
