Hello colleagues,
is there already a canal code for the specific accident power SPUL.
Mainlocation could be: SPUL
What do we do with the unit?
Specific accident power [W/kg]. AP for accident power?
??SPUL000000AP0?
Regrads

Re: SPUL channel code (Specific accident power)
Dear Uwe,
SPUL or "spezifische Unfall-Leistung" or "specific accident power" is very rarely used.
So there exists no official physical dimension for this criterion.
If you use "00" as PD the physical unit "W/kg" will not match.
We should discuss if we would like to introcuce a new PD for this criterion.
Is this a customer requirement or is the value requested in a legal or consumer rating?
By the way: We do use internally the coding "UL":
German: "Unfall Leistung"
Englisch: "Accident Power"
to handle this kind of data channel.
Kind regards,
Dirk

Re: SPUL channel code (Specific accident power)
Dear Dirk.
for us it is daily used. Our customer focused more and more the spul kriteria. They used it to compare crash pulses.
So we have to supply the data for this.
To stay international, I think AP is better than UL.
Regards Uwe

Re: SPUL channel code (Specific accident power)
Hi Uwe,
I would agree, that an international solution is better.
Also here: We didn't find the time to discuss this on the meeting.
Hopefully we can discuss and decide this next time.
Kind regards,
Dirk
