Hello,

I'm looking for a definition for channel codes of tracking datas.

In the appendix you find my proposals for all tracking channels we used at faurecia.
I know some tracking points very specially but some are standard.
As important I regard tracking datas of lowspeed tests, for example BioRID.

Are already codes defined?

Bets regards

Uwe Carstensen

Hello,

up to now for filmanalysis tracking data no special coding is standardized.
But there are some general rules which can be applied to this kind of codes.
Currently a group of german car manufacturers is working on filmanalysis of whiplash tests.
I will try to get a harmonized list of codes from this group.
For now I will give your my opinion to your proposal
  • channels attached to the seat are not related to the dummy type
  • the FineLocations RI/LE should replace IN/OU
  • LE/RI should be the FineLocation1
  • the CenterofGravity CG is not at the side of the head -> should be MI
For the whiplash procedure this results in the attached proposal
