New MainLocation for Rollover Protection System

Dear colleagues,
we have the requirement for measurements at the rollover protection systems.
This constructional element has up to now no own MainLocation.
The possible positions are restricted to the second row of the vehicle.
My proposal:

ROPS ROllover Protection System

Please find attached an updated version of the SEAT figure page 1 with the new code.

Dear Peter,

ROPS is not used so far in the database and from my point of view there
is no risk of misunderstanding and similarity to other Main Location codes:

So the new ML-Code entry will be:

ROPS   Rollover Protection System    Rollover-Schutzsystem

But I am not sure if we should provide the hint in the figure to use the
coding only for the "rear" seats for ROPS.

Typically they are:

RolloverSystem.png (343.86 KiB) Viewed 17747 times

but I can imagine that also within the back of the front seat there could be similar
devices?

just a question on a variant for the German name:
"Überschlagschutzsystem"

Is this better than
"Rollover-Schutzsystem"?

• Code ROPS accepted
• german long text changed to „Überschlagschutzsystem“
• MainLocation should not be integrated to figure SEAT-> new page in figure VEH
