Codes for Testrig Channels

Discussion about general rules for dummy, and other, calibration including:
1) coding for the specific or additional measurements at the dummies or the test rigs;
2) "Type of the test" and "Subtype of the test" descriptors to identify the calibration procedure used in a test.

Codes for Testrig Channels

Post by DiVe »

Dear all,

a while ago we started an activity driven by several OEM's to provide a overview of
the coding for the measurements taken on the test rigs in dummy qualification procedures.

Based on the work of Darius Grabowski (VW Wolfsburg) there is a comprehensive summary
available that gives schematic figures of the test rigs and the coding that we propose.

The idea is to integrate these codes in a RED for reference and standardisation
of the exchange/delivery of data sets from dummy certification.
