Channelcodes for SUFEHM channels
When the calculated channels from SUFEHM are attached to a dataset we need special ISO-codes for those ( two ) channels. To Keep them associated with the HEAD we propose to Keep Mainlocation HEAD and the dummytype in FL3 for them. for example : S1HEADVMSTTHPR0S S1HEADSUF0TH000S or, in more general :...

New physical dimension MF for 'Mass Flow'
To describe mass flows we need to describe those channels by a new physical Dimension. Even if currently those channels are only calculated by mathematical Simulation up to now, we would like to be consistent in exchenging datasets via MME. Proposal would be 'MF', our used unit for this would be 'kg...

New physical dimension VF for 'Volume Flow'
To describe volume flows of gases or liquids we Need to describe those measurements by a new physical Dimension.
Proposal would be 'VF', our used unit for this would be 'l/min', SI unit is propably 'm*m*m/s'

Re: Proposed Codes
Hello , are there already proposals for the several Ribeye channels available ? At least a subset of the overall channels should be integrated to standard WS measurement, but already for front, middle and rear we have no finelocation left to encode this. Thank you for a hint and best regards, Frank

How to name resultant calculated only from X and Y
Hello MME team,
for example reultant Tibia Moment calculated from X and Y.
What would the correct direction be in the ISO-Code ?
Thanks and best regards,
Frank

Shoulder loadcell for QA
Hello all, Shoulder force is missing in the figure for the QA . There are additional shoulder force X,Y and Z measurement locations available with the side Impact kit. Meanwhile we will use ??SHLDLE00QAFOX,Y,Z and ??SHLDRI00QAFOX,Y,Z similar to the WorldSID shoulder force. Thank you and best regards...

Re: new pyhysical dimension for Jerk JE
Hello,
our american collegues confirmed the naming 'Jerk', as well that is the way it is called in our american sled Software.
What about some comments from our native english speaking ISO-MME mebers ?
For the 'angular jerk' we don't have the requirement yet.
Thank you and best regards,
Frank

new physical dimension for Jerk JE
It is practice to calculate the differential of acceleration. For example when analyzing Crash pulses. This physical dimension is called 'jerk' or german 'Ruck'.
We Need to have this dimension available in ISO channel coding, our proposal for this is 'JE'.
Best regards,
Frank Giesche

New Channelcode for polynomial calibrated beltforce transduc
According to the new ISO 17242 it is proposed, at least an Option, to use a cubic polynom as transfer function in alternative to the linear sensitivity for beltforce transducers. In order to have an opportunity to distinguish the resulting channels easily we would suggest to handle this similar to t...

Re: Proposed Codes
On my opinion the 2D-IR-TRACC displacements should be defined with direction '2' (lateral) as this is what is really measured. The X and Y channels are then calculated from measured displacement and the angle for each IR-TRACC. This is the way we have implemented 2D-IR-TRACCs already in the past. If...
